Michele Matteoni

Michele Matteoni is a PhD candidate in the XXXVIII cycle, at the Department of Structural Engineering and Geotechnics of the University of Rome "La Sapienza".

In his Master's thesis, titled "Seismic Response of Glued Laminated Timber Buildings with Low Damage: Parametric Study," supervised by Prof. Stefano Pampanin, he envisioned the development of parametric tools for Pres-Lam buildings to characterize their seismic response through static and nonlinear dynamic analyses.

His research interests are focused on seismic risk assessment at an urban scale.

He brings his experience in modeling low-damage glued laminated timber buildings and in probabilistic seismic response analyses to the ENHANCE project.
